Historically, Passover and Yom Kippur were Thought Manifestation Review connected. Let us look at the history from the time of Exodus. The night before our exist, God slayed the first born of the Egyptians. We left in the morning and walked through the Red Sea seven days later. Another six weeks later we stood at the Mountain of Sinai and heard God speak the Ten Commandments. Moshe went up the mountain for 40 days and learned the Torah. At that point while waiting we turned to the Golden Calf. Moshe came down and destroyed the tablets. This took place on the 17th of Tammuz which is a fast day (A day we do not eat.) Moshe went up for another 40 days to pray and came down again. He hewed tablets for God to rewrite the Ten Commandments. He left on the first day of Elul and returned on Yom Kippur which was the day that was set aside for repentance and atonement.
